How Does it Work?

When an alert is activated, Vismo initiates messaging and email alerts to the those looking after travelers containing details of the user and their location. The Vismo Locate & Protect App automatically records audio on the user’s phone, which is sent to the website where personnel listen to and analyze the information to enable them to provide an appropriate response.

If users’ panic button hasn't been activated and there is an incident in the area they’re in, they are sent alerts with key details and what to do in order to minimize risk to them. Further alerts give instructions about rescue – and any planned evacuation of an area – if required.

The Vismo Locate & Protect App can be downloaded onto a phone or tablet, or alternatively managed via your mobile device management platform (MDM). Once activated, and based on the license type, the Vismo Locate & Protect App offers a number of features to better equip your team during an emergency. 

Ease of use and highly optimsed location and battery performance are key focal points but there's many more benefits, including the Red Alert feature which provides peace of mind to individuals, knowing they can be immediately alerted if an incident occurred.

To accompany Vismo's built in features' we work with Riskline, Dataminr, RapidSOS, Factal and others to actively monitor and push geo-relevant intelligence feeds to quickly communicate details of high-impact events and emerging risks.
