Active tracking also brings alive the power of geo-fencing from within the Vismo Secure Portal. Automatic notifications can be set up to advise employees who enter a geo-fenced risk area, for example an unsafe neighborhood. Vismo's National License can be used in one designated country and so best suits those who's role is regional or national.

Active Tracking

In this mode of operation, optimized location data is collected and transmitted by an employee’s mobile device or tablet using cellular or WIFI connectivity in real-time. Location data is available to view immediately either in the Vismo Secure Portal or via the Monitor App. This allows administrators to identify an employee instantly and respond faster to incidents no matter where they are in the world. Historical ‘bread crumb’ trailing can also be managed for multiple staff or virtual geo-fenced areas managed with entry/exit notifications.

Create & Monitor Geo-Fences

When workers are dispersed to unknown or unsafe areas in the event of an emergency, the ability to set up geo-fences quickly using Vismo is essential to help keep workers safe. Custom-drawn shapes to the geo-fence and any applicable time conditions can be easily defined allowing you to understand when employees enter or exit these locations.

Authorized personnel can view the location history of remote employees, this can be vital for auditing purposes, job costing or proving additional safety. Personal Emergency Alert

No matter the location or time, employees can raise an alert in the Vismo Locate & Protect App when an incident occurs, or when they enter high risk areas or if they feel at risk.

Once an alert has been activated, employers will be notified and 10-second audio clips as well as the user's accurate location will automatically be shared to the Vismo Secure Portal for review.

Check-In Functionality

Assignments can be used to set up a specific list of tasks in a given job/visit. While working on an assignment, employees can Check-In within an agreed time frame to confirm their safety and tick off tasks once completed.
